VINTAGE 1961 GILLETTE FATBOY G-3 DOUBLE EDGE SAFETY RAZOR
This beautiful razor has been carefully polished and looks very nice.  This was made in the 3rd quarter of 1961 and is nearly 60 years old.  This razor is completely stock and has not been replated.  The doors open as they should and in unison.  There is no brassing evident on this razor anywhere that I can see, except possibly on the bottom dial (see last picture).  There are a couple of spots on the handle as well, but I don't believe that is brassing.  The adjustment dial clicks easily from the 1 through 9 settings with an audible click as it should.  The final quarter turn works properly as well, locking the doors shut to keep the blade in place.
You will notice minor wear, scratching, or other general imperfections that you would expect from a carefully used razor of this age - but with that said, this is in very nice condition as the pictures will attest!  The black numbering on the dial still appears to be fully present.
