    Fine Yarns, Fibers and Knitting Kits
    Thrummed slippers are a warm hug for your feet. As you knit the slippers, small bits of soft white fleece (called thrums) are knit along with the yarn to form a thick fleece lining. As the slippers are worn, the inside fleece slightly felts and forms a cozy, soft, warm lining. Here in Maine we like to knit the very warmest woolies as fast as we can before our cold winter hits.
    This kit includes 110 yards of our hand painted 100% bulky weight wool yarn in our colorway, "Winter Wonderland", hand painted with turquoise,royal blue and purple accents on a snow white background (our winter colors here in Maine) and 1 oz. of our soft wool fleece in natural white to form the thrums. The picture of the slippers is not the color of the yarn. The yarn color is the blue, purple and turquoise yarn shown.
    Also included is a set of 2 quality US size 10  bamboo wood knitting needles, complete knitting instructions and a plastic
    drawstring bag to keep it all in.
