Gillette Bostonian 1925 Refurbished Replated Silver. The teeth of the open tooth comb blade guard have withstood the test of time wonderfully with NO breaks at all. The razor has a serial number of 507870B, indicating 1925. The weight of the razor is 78g.
The handle is Fully Intact and Has No Stress Fractures. All three pieces fit precisely as they should and lock down properly. All Original Gillette manufactured. This is one of the best Gillette Bostonians' that I've seen in a long time, It is a must have for a Gillette enthusiast and is Absolutely shave ready. Refurbished Re-Plated Silver Bostonian Razor!
The New Improved was supposed to be easier to clean, a bit more durable and lessen the chance of nicks and cuts, perhaps by holding the blade more securely. These great-looking, great shaving razors were made from 1921-1928.  In 1921 Gillette released the New Improved razor with the heavier flat guard.
