Functionality
This item is in all natural condition and has not been replated and there was no need for repairs. It is clean, fully functional, and ready to shave. There are no bends in the head. The spring loaded mechanism is fully functional; the head opens and closes as it should. The blade pins (that hold the blade) are intact and working properly. The blade sits flush and evenly in the blade tray. The rear tab and guard bar are straight. The razor has been blade tested. The threading on the handle and head are in great condition and the head sits firmly on the handle.
Appearance
This item has been polished, cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner, and sanitized. Some scratching on the head and brass exposed on the guard bar.
Details and Specs
There are many variations of the 1912 Single edge made under different names. The gold plating is significantly faded with nickel showing on the head and simply brass on the handle. Some flea biting on the head.
