Antique/Vintage Chinese Brass Dragon Pot, Spittoon, Cuspidor?

Antique/Vintage Chinese Brass Dragon Pot or Spittoon/Cuspidor. Measures approximately 11.5 inches wide, and 7.5 inches tall. Weighs over 7 lbs. The gentleman that I acquired this from believed this to be an old Chinese spittoon, although I haven’t been able to verify that because I couldn’t find one quite like it to compare it to when doing research. It has a somewhat unique style and appears to be quite uncommon. It has some scratches/scuff marks, areas of discoloration, and spotting. Please see pictures as they are part of the description.
