Antique Phonograph Cylinder Record Listening Tube Volume Control Knob

Here is an antique cylinder record phonograph listening tube volume control. It turns as it should on top which opens and closes the screw on bottom. It is untested but I assume would work. It measures about 1 inch in diameter across the circular top. It has typical use scratches and light wear but otherwise appears undamaged or repaired. The maker is unknown.
