    .00 intaglio 1896 (reverse side) silver certificate graded by PCGS as Choice NC 64 PPQ. This is a difficult year to find a reverse side intaglio in. Really nice piece.
    This is an intaglio print. An intaglio is an official reprint of a banknote or treasury note. These are reprinted by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, and are completely legal to possess. They are not legal tender and do not contain a serial number. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing used the original press plates to make the intaglios, so they are authentic reprints.
