    Description

    This classic 1951 Gillette Super Speed "Black Tip" razor you are viewing was thoroughly cleaned. The head is made of nickel plated brass. The tip is made of durable plastic. This is the lighter, aluminum handle version. Black tips, which were only made during the years 1951 & 52, also came with steel handles.
    It is in excellent working condition. The doors open and close smoothly, as well as tighten down securely and evenly.
    The cosmetic condition good overall.
    "W-4" is the date code, found under the head, and confirms that this razor was manufactured by Gillette during the fourth quarter of 1951.
