    Description

    1 lb. Suri alpaca, Romney wool and llama pin drafted roving would be great for spinning, knitting and felting or locker hooking or weaving. This is a rustic, coarser blend of a black suri alpaca and Romney wool blend spiraled with a fawn llama and Romney wool blend. There is minimal crimp or memory in this roving so it would be good for spinning and felting or locker hooking or weaving. The longer staple length can easily be spun into a thick singles yarn for weaving or knitting and felting. It is not extremely coarse but it does have the llama guard hairs in it. We prefer to call it “durable”. This is one full pound (16 ounces) of a spiral striped pin drafted roving professionally processed in California using neither harsh chemicals nor carbonization. Light VM (vegetable matter) and a five inch staple length. All animals involved are grazing happily here in sunny California.
